Harrington & Richardson Model 365 .22 Rifle. In very nice looking condition, single shot bolt action design from H&R Arms Company, Worcester Mass and produced 1946-1947 just after the end of WW2.

H&R arms was making the Reising SMG for the war effort along with other military contracts and this may account for the military look of the M365 rifle, perhaps marketed toward returning soldiers.

This is a quality made rifle, man sized (not a boys rifle), heavy hardwood stock appears to have survived with original finish. Metal has a matte blued finish on the metal, quite nice with a straw/patina bolt. Lyman 55h adjustable rear peep sight with sling swivels and enlarged trigger guard. Medium weight 22 inch barrel. Chambered in .22 long rifle the bore is brite and excellent.

Makes a fine rifle for the shooter or collector.
