This offering is for the pictured Chinese Type 53 Mosin Nagant Carbine. In good looking condition, maker marked from Arsenal 26 and dated 1956 on the receiver.
This handy bolt action repeater is fashioned after the Russian M44 Carbine and features the side folding bayonet. Serial numbers no longer match. Metal finish is worn blue turning a patina and some gun metal gray. Appears mechanically fine.
Sound wood stock set with typical dings and compressions from use and long storage.
Chambered in 7.62x54r the bore has good rifling, smooth lands and frosted grooves. Import marked. Makes a fine rifle for the military collector. Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL, State restrictions may apply.
