This offering is for the pictured Dutch Model 1895 Mannlicher Carbine. In good condition, early production, maker marked from the State Hembrug Arsenals and dated 1907 on the side rail.
Somewhat uncommon, many were used up as they saw use thru WW1, WW2 and beyond. This carbine variation is the No3 Old Model, identified by the long hand guard and bottom sling swivels. Made to arm engineers and artillery troops.
Refurbished over the years in military service, serial numbers no longer match. Metal finish is blued with average wear, 18 inch barrel. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.
European walnut stock and hand guard with typical small dings and compressions.
Chambered in 6.5 rimmed Dutch Mannlicher, the bore has good+ rifling, smooth frosted lands with darker frosted grooves. Makes a fine rifle for the military collector. Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL. State restrictions may apply.
