Product Details

This offering is for the pictured Dutch Model 1895 Mannlicher rifle. In good looking condition and maker marked from the Dutch Hembrug Arsenals in 1915 for WW1 service.

The standard Dutch infantry rifle with a 31 inch barrel. Rebuilt over the years of service, serial numbers no longer match. This one shows evidence of WW2 German use in the occupied area with the butt stock in-letting for the German type sling, likely used by police, local patrols or Atlantic wall guards.

Metal finish is blued with average wear and a correct brite receiver. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Soind wood stock but missing the hand guard, visible dowel repair under the butt at the butt plate.

Chambered in 6.5x53r Dutch Mannlicher. The bore has good+ frosted rifling with darker grooves. Not import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
