Antique, stock # LT.A917 offering is for the pictured Remington Rolling Block M1869 Rifle. In only good looking condition, maker marked from Remington Arms on military contract to Egypt. This has seen amply use with military and eventually the Egyptian Police.

Metal is worn and the finish turned to a plumb patina. Full length 35 inch barrel, single shot rolling block action. Correct issue sights, worn and slightly bent. Egyptian Police marked on the left receiver. Mechanically appears fine.

American hardwood stock set shows scuffs and wear with grain cracks near the butt plate.

Chambered in .43 Spanish the bore has good rifling, frost lands and grooves.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
