Product Details

This offering is for the pictured Austrian Mannlicher M95 Carbine. In good looking condition, referred to as a carbine and officially called the Repetier Stutzen for its abbreviated size. Issued to support troops such as artillery, engineers, signal corps and police.

Maker marked from the Steyr Arsenals with a 1937 barrel date. Straight pull action repeater, matching serial numbers receiver to butt stock with a mis matched bolt. Barrel shank is marked with the S indicating chambered for the updated caliber 8x56r. Metal finish is mostly worn to gun metal gray. The rear sight is missing the slider. This carbine has the unique front sight hood.

Sound hardwood stock and hand guard with typical dings and scuffs.

Chambered in 8x56r the bore is brite with very good rifling, light frost. Not import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the collector.
