This offering is for the pictured German WW1 Model 1916 Ersatz Bayonet. In good looking condition, manufactured under late wartime emergency ersatz conditions and features simplified manufacturing techniques.
Made to fit both the Gew98 Mauser, M88 Commission Rifle and the French Lebel, due to its unique muzzle ring.
17 inches in overall length with a 12.25 inch blade. Blade is mostly brite with wear, the handle is made of sheet steel with a chipped paint finish. Lock button works fine. Includes the steel scabbard.
Makes a good item for the military collector.
