Antique. This offering is for the pictured Colt Open Top Pocket Pistol. In good looking condition, serial number 11117. This handy pocket pistol was in production at the Colt from 1871-1877 and was the perfect companion for those who did not carry a full size revolver.
Single action 7 shot .22 caliver rimfire. Attractive brass frame with steel barrel and cylinder. Checkered trigger and hammer grip. Appears mechanically fine.
Fine hardwood grips.
Chambered in .22 rimfire, probably 22 short the bore has good rifling with frost lands and grooves.
Makes a fine item for the collector.
