This offering is for the pictured FN Browning Hi Power Pistol. In looking very good looking condition, maker marked from FN Belgium with a 1980 date code in the grip serial number.
This one is in standard military and police contract configuration and has matching police inventory numbers on the frame, slide and barrel. GVB prefix saw use with the Belgian Gendarmerie Motorcycle Police and is the desirable alloy frame version.
Very nice black stoving finish over service grade metal finish. Alloy frame and steel slide with just minor marks from storage. Semi-automatic action appears mechanically fine.
Sound black checkered plastic grips with typical handling marks and the lanyard ring is present. Belgian marked 13 round magazine with a very worn base and added rack number.
Chambered in 9mm the bore is brite near excellent. Import marked on the grip base.
Makes a fine pistol for the collector.
