Product Details

This offering is for the pictured German G24(t) /Iraqi K98 Mauser Rifle. In good looking used condition, this unique rifle has seen arsenal rebuilds and has seen service for Europe to the Mideast.

Originally produced during WW2 in German occupied Czechoslovakia as the G24(t) German approved version of the Vz24 rifle and so marked on the side rail.

The barrel shows a post war Czech rebuild/reissue date of 1946 and subsequent Iraqi military marking on the barrel top and receiver.

Serial numbers no longer match. In standard K98 rifle configuration it as a good blued finish with average wear to the sharp edges. The bright straight handles bolt is Farsi and Czech marked.

Sound laminated wood stock is a mis matched replacement (probably Yugoslav) that looks fine.

Chambered in 8mm Mauser the bore is reasonably brite with good rifling and frosted grooves. Import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the collector.
