This offering is for the pictured box of 30-06 Military Energa Anti-Tank Grenade Launching Cartridges. Nice condition 100 round box. Maker marked from FN Belgium, brass cases with a 1955 date, waterproof/wax protected tip, 100 rounds in total.

The Energa anti-tank rifle grenade is rifle-launched and propelled by a ballistite filled blank cartridge.

First produced in the 1950s, in Belgium, it was in front-line use by European armies until replaced by disposable tube-launched anti-tank rockets such as the M72 LAW.

The original Energa grenade could penetrate 200mm (7.8inches) of armor. or 500mm (19.6inches) of concrete.

Makes a fine display for the military collector.
