Product Details

This offering is for the pictured US Military M1 Garand Rifle. In good looking condition, and maker marked from the Springfield Armory. Serial number dates to 1942 production.

The principal US battle rifle of WW2.

Likely rebuilt over the years of service, metal has a parkerized finish with wear to the sharp edges and muzzle area. Features the excellent adjustable rear aperture sight the is capable of quick and accurate shooting. Barrel is also marked from Springfield Armory a replacement dated 11/53 after Korean War service. Mechanically appears fine.

Sound hard wood stock set, faint P proof on the grip, typical small dings and scuffs from use and long storage.

Chambered in 30-06, the bore is brite with very good rifling, gauged: MW 3.5 TE 5. Not import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
