Antique, #54917 This offering is for the pictured Winchester Model 1894 Rifle. In good looking condition, serial number dates to 1896 production. This is a traditional Maine hunting rifle used and cared for over several generations.

Good vintage look, metal finish is worn blue mostly gun metal gray on the receiver area with worn blue remaining on the 26 inch octagon barrel. Traditional iron sights. Lever action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Hardwood stock and hand guard are sound with typical small dings or scuffs, correct crescent steel butt plate.

Chambered in .38-55 WCF the bore has good rifling with frost lands and groovers.

Makes a fine antique rifle for the collector.
