Serial #13777 This offering is for the pictured Zastava M88A Pistol. In nice looking condition, maker marked from Zavodi Crvena Zastava (Red Flag Factories) Kragujevac Yugoslavia.
Cold war era production for police and commercial sales. Designed to be an updated and more compact version than the standard M57 Tokarev service pistol. Interestingly the maker logo predates the Yugoslav Civil War as later pistols are marked from Serbia.
Steel slide and frame with a matte blued finish. 3.5 inch barrel, single action semi-automatic action. This is the M88"A" version and has the slide mounted safety and the internal firing pin block safety. Mechanically appears fine.
Attractive smooth hardwood grips and 8 round magazine.
Chambered in 9mm parabellum the bore is brite with very good rifling, slight frost.
