Product Details

Antique, #42837 This offering is for the pictured Winchester Model 1887 ShotGun. In good looking condition and known as one of the first successful repeater Shot guns. Serial number dates to production to 1890. This model was made between 1887-1899 with only 64,800 produced.

Lever action falling block design with a 30 inch barrel, 12 Gauge black powder version and marked 12 atop the barrel.

Metal finish is worn to gun metal gray with typical patina tones. Attractive Winchester Repeating Arms monogram on the receiver side. Lever action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Hardwood stock and forend are sound with typical small dings and scuffs of the years. Checkered steel butt plate.

Chambered in 12 Gauge black powder 2 5/8 length low pressure. Smooth bore with frost.

Makes a fine antique for the collector.
