Product Details

Serial #1525G. This offering is for the pictured Brazilian Mauser Model 1908 Rifle. In good looking condition, maker marked in Germany from DWM on military contract to Brazil. Similar features as the Gew98 but with a few small end user detail changes such as the longer hand guard and caliber.

Serial numbers match bolt handle to receiver, other numbers are mis matched. Correct brite receiver with other parts blued, most wear at the muzzle. Likely refurbished over the years of service, bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Sound hardwood stock and hand guard, mostly matched in color tone, minor dings and scuffs, sharp arsenal cartouche.

Chambered in 7mm Mauser, the bore has very good rifling with slight frost. Not import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
