Serial #8828 This offering is for the pictured Italian Military Model 1889 Bodeo Revolver. Maker marked from the Italian Arsenals at Gardone in 1926. This version has the octagon barrel for use with the rank-and-file soldiers while the smooth barrel version reserved for officers.
Mechanically appears fine, tight and operational. Metal finish is worn matte blue turning a plumb patina. Trigger folds neatly away for storage but just dangles in place for use, operates in single and double action.
Original hardwood grips with worn checkering and the lanyard loop is present.
Chambered in 10.4mm Ordnance Revolver, the bore has very good rifling with slight frost present. This includes the original holster that shows wear at the nose. A fine pistol for the military collector. Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL, State restrictions may apply.
