Antique #LTC.A638 This offering is for the pictured French Mle 1822 Percussion Pistol. In only good looking condition, maker marked from the French Tulle Arsenals and dated 1822. 200 years old!

Made for military use as a single shot percussion fired side arm. Brite finish on the steel barrel has turned a plumb patina and has a few spots of old pitting. Hammer cocks and releases fine but does fall from half cock when the trigger is pulled as seems to be common with this model.

Wood stock is sound but appears to have an old repair of some sort.

Makes a fine item for the military collector.
