This offering is for 1 of our vintage Italian Carabinieri Leather Ammo Pouches. Like the one pictured, all are in good looking condition.
The Carabinieri are the Italian Military Police and part of the Army until the year 2000. The serve the country along side of the Polizia.
The pouch is sturdy black leather with a tin insert, good closure flap and side attachment for the shoulder strap (not included). Careful, the stitching on the flap seems fragile.
Handsome national emblem on the front. 6 x 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size, from the era of the Carcano rifles a standard box of Carcano ammunition can be placed inside. (modern pouches are much smaller.)
Makes a fine item for the military collector.
