This offering is for 1 of our Kukri Knives. New stock out of India, this 13 inch version saw use with Gurkha military soldiers. Brite blade with a wooden handle and leather scabbard. Blades all are new and un-sharpened. Gurkha soldiers were enlisted out of Nepal for service in Indian and British military forces. Thought to be a martial race, naturally warlike and aggressive in battle. Having qualities of courage, loyalty, self-sufficiency, physical strength, resilience, orderliness, able to work hard for long periods of time and fight with tenacity and strength. Neat item for the collector. Several available. |
