This offering is for the pictured German Post War HJ Youth Knife. In good looking condition we understand this to have been made in the post war years, 1950's or so in the style of the WW2 originals. Made for tourists and collectors who could not obtain an original, it is a reproduction.
This certainly looks the part, 9.5 inches in overall length with a 5.25 inch blade and wear of the years. Maker marked Baron, Solingen Germany. Plated non-metallic grip metal and a carbon steel blade with sharpening marks.
Sound black plastic checkered grip material with no political markings.
Scabbard is painted alloy with a black leather belt hanger.
Neat item for the collector.
