This offering is for the pictured US Model 1896 Krag Cadet Bayonet Scabbard. In nice looking condition and a bit uncommon.
Purpose built to be smaller in size for the Cadet bayonet, 10 inch metal scabbard and 14.75 inch overall to the leather belt hanger. Fine blued finish with small patina spots, has the early Hoffman leather hanger, these were later updated to all steel.
The bayonet is not present, and it is considered a rare item.
