This offering is for the pictured Walther PP Pistol. In nice looking condition and maker marked from the Manurhin France factory, licensed for production in 1952 as Walther was prohibited from making arms in Germany in the immediate post war years.
The PP or Police Pistol saw service in Police and Military service and were made thru 1986. This one appears to be 1950's-1960's era production and saw service with Swedish Police. Marked on the right side by the Swedish importer J V Astrom Bjurtjarn and features the service lanyard ring on the base.
Full blued finish on the metal with light silvering on the sharp edges toward the muzzle from holster wear, worn to plumb patina on the front and rear grip.
This is a quality made pistol with a double action/single action trigger and decocking safety. Rear sight is adjustable for windage. Sound black plastic grips and original 8 round magazine.
Chambered in .32 Auto the bore is brite with very good rifling, slight frost. Import marked.
