This offering is for the pictured Smith & Wesson Model 39 Pistol In very good looking condition and developed in 1954 in an effort to secure a military contract and later marketed to civilian and law enforcement. This one dated to 1963-1964 era. Very nice black finish on the alloy frame and steel slide. Double action with a decocking lever and has adjustable rear sight. Appears mechanically fine. Great looking checkered wooden grips. Chambered in caliber 9mm the bore is brite and excellent. Makes a fine pistol for the shooter or collector. Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL.
