Product Details

This offering is for the pictured Japanese Type 94 Pistol. In very good looking condition and maker marked from Nagoya and dated Showa 16.10 (1941 October).
Designed by Kijieu Nambu, this semi-automatic pistol was in production for the Imperial Japanese Army from 1935-1945 with 71,000 produced. Smaller and lightweight designed made it popular with officers, tanks and aircraft crews.
Serial numbers no longer match on the magazine. Blued finish on the metal with a brite barrel, slight silvering near the muzzle area.
Mechanically appears fine but considered unsafe among commercial designs as the exposed trigger bar on the left exterior will releases the hammer if pressed.
Correct black plastic grips.
Chambered in 8mm Nambu the bore is brite with very good rifling.
Makes a fine pistol for the military collector. Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL. State restrictions may apply.
