Moroccan Mauser M1950 Carbine. In good looking condition and made by FN in Belgium on military contract in the 1950's. Purpose built in 7.62x51 this carbine is extremely handy and in a desireable caliber. Metal finish is worn smooth with a patina developing, likely has a black stoveing finish to start. Wood stock and handguard have dings and compressions from use and long storage but are sound and crack free. Serial numbers mis match bolt to receiver, missing the small triggerguard lock screws. Chambered in 7.62x51 (308 Winchester) the bore is brite with very good rifling, smooth lands and grooves. Import marked under the barrel.
