Serial #G93512 This offering is for the pictured French MAS 49/56 Rifle. In nice looking condition, it was the French main battle rifle for the 1950's-1960's.

Semi-automatic design with a detachable 10 round magazine, an updated rifle from the MAS 49 to have rifle grenade launching capability.

Arsenal refurbished in the 1970's it has a full parkerized finish on the metal, only light wear with a scuff behind the rear sight. Integral grenade launcher and sights with adjustable aperture rear sight for accurate shooting. Semi automatic action appears fine.

Sound stock set with typical light military use.

Chambered in 7.5 French the bore has very good rifling, light frost. Import marked.

Fine rifle for the military collector.
