This offering is for the pictured vintage US Military Leather Sling. Original item in good looking condition. Produced at the Rock Island Arsenals.

1890's design for the Krag or Springfield Trapdoor service rifles. 66 inches in overall length, adjustment hook clasp on one end and a sling button on the other, includes the band keeper.

Flexible and strong but shows surface wear and crazing to the tanned finish.

Makes a fine item for the military collector.
