Product Details

Antique. This offering is for the pictured Argentine Mauser Model 1891 Rifle. In very good looking condition and maker marked from the Loewe Arsenals in Berlin Germany on military contract to Argentina, pre 1898.

Matching serial numbers, including the cleaning rod. Metal finish is fully blued with just slight silvering to the sharp edges and a correct brite bolt. The military crest has been scrubbed from the receiver to top upon leaving military service as is common for these. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Handsome European hardwood stock and hand guard with a few scuffs and compressions.

Chambered in 7.65 Mauser the bore is brite and excellent. Not import marked.

Makes a rifle for the military collector.
