Antique #3306K This offering is for the pictured Dutch Model 1895 Mannlicher Rifle. In good condition, early production, maker marked from the Steyr Austria arsenals and dated 1896 on the side rail. Predates the Dutch domestic manufacture of these rifles.

Somewhat uncommon, many were used up as they saw use thru WW1, WW2 and beyond.

Refurbished over the years in military service, serial numbers no longer match. Metal finish is blued with average light wear and patina to the sharp edges. Full length military rifle with a 31.5 inch barrel. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

European walnut stock and hand guard with typical small dings and compressions.

Chambered in 6.5 rimmed Dutch Mannlicher, the bore has good-very good rifling, frosted lands with darker frosted grooves.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
