This offering is for the pictured US WW2 Case V44 Pilots Survival Knife. In good looking condition, maker marked from Case on military contract to the government. This is the first aircrew survival knife of the of the US Army Air Forces. In production from 1934-1942.
14 inches in overall length with a 9.25 inch brite blade. Sound black composition handle with a brass cross guard. Blade has 2 fine line fuller designed on each side and has been sharpened.
Includes the original leather scabbard, good belt hanger.
Makes a fine knife for the military collector. Just this 1 available.
