Product Details

This offering is for the pictured Austrian Mannlicher M95 Carbine. In good looking condition, referred to as a carbine and officially called the Repetier Stutzen for its abbreviated size. Issued to support troops such as artillery, engineers, signal corps and police.

Maker marked from the Steyr Arsenals with a 1919 barrel date and arsenal refurbished over the years. Straight pull action repeater,

factory matching serial numbers receiver, barrel and bolt with a mis matched butt stock. Importers new serial number added to the receivers side. Barrel shank is marked with the S indicating chambered for the updated caliber 8x56r. Metal finish has a full blued finish and the bolt correctly brite. Appears mechanically fine.

Sound hardwood stock and hand guard with typical small dings and scuffs, appears sanded and refinished a bit.

Chambered in 8x56r the bore has good+ rifling, frost lands and grooves. Import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the collector.
