This offering is for the pictured Dutch M1895 Mannlicher Carbine Bayonet. In good looking condition, this is the long version (longer than the rifle bayonet) for use by Artillery, Engineers and Mounted troops. The carbine version is a bit uncommon.

23.5 inches in overall length with a 18.5 inch T back blade. Maker marked from Hembrug before WW1. Blued finish on the metal with wear and patina on the grip metal. on the tip. Sound hardwood grips with a couple of scuffs. Lock button works fine.

No scabbard.

Makes a fine accessory for the military collector.
