Product Details

This offering is for the pictured Mosin Nagant M1891 Rifle. In good looking condition, maker marked from the Tula, Peter The Great Ordnance Factory in 1916.

Full length infantry rifle with a 31.5 inch barrel. Produced during the rule of the Czar this warhorse has seen ample use thru WW1, WW2 and beyond. Likely handed down thru the Soviet satellite states during the cold war.

Serial numbers no longer match. Metal finish is blued with average wear, Czarist crest defaced from the barrel and receiver, likely during the Communist years. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Sound hardwood stock with typical small dings and dents.

Chambered in 7.62x54r the bore has good+ rifling smooth lands with darker frosted grooves. Import marked.

Makes a good rifle for the military collector.
