Product Details

This offering is for the pictured Yugoslav Model M48.BO Mauser Rifle. In very good used condition. Known as the BO model, "bez oznake"or without markings, it was made expressly for export military contracts (likely Egypt and others) with no makers markings or crests present to identify country of origin for covert military sales or aid.

Matching serial numbers, produced at the Yugoslav Red Star arsenals, it is essentially the standard Yugo M48 rifle. Metal finish is fully blued with light silvering to the sharp edges. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Sound stock and hand guard, matched in color tone appears sanded with stain applied.

Chambered in 8mm Mauser the bore has very good rifling with light frost. Import marked

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
