This offering is for the pictured Mosin Nagant M91/38 Carbine. In good looking condition. These handy and desirable carbines were made for non infantry troops such as engineers, artillery and drivers.

Interestingly this one started life as an 1891 long rifle manufactured in 1899 and converted to carbine configuration in 1938 or later.

Rebuilt over years of service, it has arsenal matching serial numbers and interestingly some of the barrel shank numbers are upside down. Importers new serial number added to the receivers left side.

Full blue black finish on the metal with a correct brite bolt.

Handsome lighter toned stock set with an arsenal repair on the butt.

Chambered in 7.62x54r the bore has good+ rifling with frost lands and grooves. Import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the shooter or collector.
