This offering is for the pictured Carcano M91/28 TS Carbine. In nice looking condition, this model was the 1st all new carbine produced under Mussolini's leadership and produced from 6 different factories.
This one however was manufactured at Brescia, the maker that converted old stocks of M91 TS to the new M91/28 Truppe Special configuration. Original 1917 barrel date is still in place.
Handy carbine for mounted and artillery troops. Matching serial numbers barrel to butt stock. Metal has a full blue or matte blue finish from a 1938 refurbishment, bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.
Wood stock set is sound, matching toned.
Chambered in 6.5 Carcano the bore has very good rifling, light frost lands and grooves. Not import marked.
Fine rifle for the collector.
