This offering is for10 rounds of our vintage 297/230 Morris Tube Short Ammunition. 10 loose rounds of this small and unique center fire cartridges.
Made to be used with a commercial sub caliber barrel insert, "The Morris Aiming Tube" enabled training and target practice with the British Martini Henry rifles. Successful enough to be adopted for military use in 1883 and later fitted for the Martini-Metford and Lee -Metford rifles.
.225 bullet diameter, bottle neck centerfire cartridge.
