This offering is for the pictured US M1 Carbine. In good looking condition, maker marked from the WW2 maker Standard Products Co. Low production with only 247,160 produced between 1943-1944.
This handy and desirable carbine has seen ample service, WW2, Korea and beyond. Likely rebuilt over the years in service.
Metal finish is a smooth parkerized turning a patina with wear to the sharp edges. Underwood marked barrel dated 1-44 This comes with a used GI C-B marked 15 round magazine, post war updated with the bayonet lug and adjustable rear aperture sight. Semi automatic design appears mechanically fine.
Hard wood stock set, lower appears sanded a bit, no cartouches remaining.
Chambered in .30 Carbine then bore is brite with good rifling, frost spots lands and grooves. Not Import marked. Makes a fine item for the military collector. Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL, State restrictions may apply.
