This offering is for the pictured German WW1 Gew 98 Mauser Bayonet. In good looking condition, WW1 era item maker marked from FD Luneschloss and dated 1916 on the spine.
Refurbish and reissued in the 1920's for police use indicated by the blued finish and added serial number on the cross guard.
19.75 inches in overall length with a 14.5 inch sturdy butchers blade profile. Metal shows average wear and has good hard wood grips and scabbard.
Makes a fine item for the military collector. Just this 1 available.
