This offering is for the pictured British Enfield P1903 Bayonet. In good looking condition and was the first bayonet design for the Lee Enfield rifles.
Features the Pattern 1888 double edge blade, and grip design that appears on the later P1907. The P1907 bayonet eventually won out as it had a longer blade reach. Stocks of these early P1903 bayonets served in military use thru WW1.
Condition is good used, 16.75 inches in overall length, brite double edged blade and blued grip metal with average finish wear. Various issue and refurbishment dates on the riccaso. Sound hard wood grips with a few scuffs.
Includes a modified P1907 leather scabbard as the originals are unfindable.
A bit uncommon to find.
