This offering is for the pictured Japanese Type 30 bayonet. For use on the Arisaka Type 38 and Type 99 service rifles. This one is in good looking used condition, maker marked from the Tokyo Arsenals.
20 inches in overall length with a 15.5 inch brite blade. Grip metal is worn to gray, has the early birds head pommel and hooked quillion. Wooden grip panels are correct and show average wear.
Includes the good condition steel scabbard with typical small dings and dent and the original leather frog.
Fine item for the military collector.
