In nice looking condition, 1st pattern that pre-dates the side swell for tool storage.

Maker marked from the Watervliet Arsenal and made to be worn on the 1874 Plamer Brace system. Black tanned leather with brass gromet on the closure strap and belt loops.

Missing the 2 small brass corner staples.

Interior has fine varnished canvas pleats to hold 20 45-70 cartridges.

Makes a fine display for the military collector.
