Item #1629 This offering is for the pictured US 50-70 New York State Militia Leather Cartridge Box. In nice looking condition and a bit uncommon. Features the 20 round internal wood block with spring loaded brass bases.
Black tanned leather, sound with crazing on the front flap, large brass Militia M on the front, sound single belt loop on the reverse. Front closure strap is damaged as pictured. Likely 150 years old.
Made to hold caliber 50-70 ammunition.
Makes a fine display for the military collector.
