Item #4535 This offering is for the pictured inert British No16 Lemon Grenade. In fair-good looking condition, it is a dug relic item.
Uncommon variation, the No15 and No16 British grenades had a fragile fuse system that was susceptible to moisture and resulted in unreliable ignition in the field and discontinued.
Cast iron body with rust pitting spots, fuse unscrews for inspection, faint date on the side.
No powders or primers safe for your military display. Makes a fine display for the military collector.
