Antique Stock# LT.A458 This offering is for the pictured RB Rodda Percussion Pistol. In good looking condition, maker marked from RB Rodda & Co. Picadilly London. Likely made from 1850's-1870's.

4 3/16 inch smooth bore barrel, .65 inch +/- diameter bore. A fine and attractive piece in its day with ample hand engraving, and fine checkered hard wood grip. Take down model with a cross pin that allows easy disassembly. Integral ram rod, barrel appears to be Damascus steel, neat storage in the base of the grip for spare percussion caps. Hammer works fine with full and half cock and has a half cock safety lever. Appears to be missing a small item from the left side, screw holes remain. Was likely a belt hook or lanyard ring.

Condition shows wear overall with light battering toward the muzzle. Percussion nipple is damaged or battered down for dry firings.

Black powder, percussion cap single shot. Appears to be .65+/- caliber, smooth bore is patina and frost pitted.

Makes a fine pistol for the collector.
