Antique, serial number #760. This offering is for the pictured Uhlinger Pocket Revolver. In good looking condition and manufactured by Willian P Uhlinger Philadelphia PA between 1861-1865. Near 10,000 pocket revolvers were made by Uhlinger in several configurations, private Civil War era sales.
Interestingly, in order to avoid patent infringements, majority are marked with fictitious trade names, such as: WL Grant, JP Lower, DD Cone Washington DC, some unmarked and rarely WP Uhlinger.
This one is a DD Cone, Washington DC. Matching serial numbers frame and cylinder. Six shot revolver with a 5 inch octagon barrel. Metal finish is gun metal gray, single action with a spur trigger. Action works most of the time.
Sound hard wood grips but with an old splice in on the right side.
Chambered in .32 rimfire, the bore is partly brite with some frost spots.
Makes a fine revolver for the collector.
