Serial #667 This offering is for the pictured British Enfield No5 Jungle Carbine. In good looking condition and a genuine military configuration item. Maker marked from British Arsenals at Fazakerly dated 4/44.
Matching serial numbers, receiver, bolt and forend, mis matched magazine. Metal finish is worn bluing turning a patina. Bolt action repeater with a 10 round magazine, mechanically appears fine. Correct 800 meter rear sight.
Wood stock set is sound with typical dings and scuffs, slightly darker overall.
A correct light weight "jungle guns" with excess metal milled away where possible ie: lightened bolt knob, trigger guard and more. Recognizable integral flash hider and buttstock relief cut.
Chambered in 303 British the bore has very good rifling, light frost. Import marked.
Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
