Item #4646. This offering is for the pictured French Brass Handle Coursolle Pocket Knife. In good looking used condition and made after 1902 by Leon Coursolle with his wrench symbol.
Coursolle, changed the face of French knife making from traditional wooden material to the quick assembly stamped brass sides. These were offered in a variety of sporting or novelty themes and were interesting pieces for consumers.
When open 7.25 inches with a 3 inch folding blade. Attractive look with vintage patina on the brass. Metal has some frost pitting and the blade has been sharpened.
Makes a fine item for the collector.
