This offering is for the pictured Austrian Model 1854 Lorenz Rifle Bayonet. In good looking used condition and has the unique cruciform or quadrangle blade.
Near 300,000 of these rifles were imported to this country during the US Civil War and were used by both the Union and Confederate armies.
22 inches in overall length with a 19 inch blade. Twist ring lock on the socket.
Brite finish with typical small rust or frost spots.
There is no scabbard. Makes a fine item for the military collector. Just this 1 available.
